Nine teams have at least six wins, led by the 8-1 Dallas Cowboys – Dallas (8-1), Kansas City (7-2), New England (7-2), Oakland (7-2), Denver (7-3), Seattle (6-2-1), Houston (6-3), the New York Giants (6-3) and Atlanta (6-4). The AFC West has three teams with at least seven wins – Kansas City, Oakland and Denver – and the NFC East is the only division in which all four teams have a winning record – Dallas, the Giants, Washington (5-3-1) and Philadelphia (5-4).

Dallas rookie running back EZEKIEL ELLIOTT rushed for 92 yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys’ 35-10 win at Cleveland last week. Elliott leads the league with 891 rushing yards, the third-most in NFL history in a player’s first eight career games.
Steve Dennis from ESPN 103.3 Dallas joins the Sports Kings today to talk Dallas Cowboys.
Pittsburgh quarterback BEN ROETHLISBERGER enters Sunday’s contest against Dallas with 44,944 career passing yards. With 56 passing yards this week, Roethlisberger would become the 11th quarterback in NFL history with 45,000 passing yards, and the eighth QB to accomplish the feat with one team.

The first half of the season has been packed with thrilling comebacks and close finishes, but the excitement will only intensify as the playoff push begins. And there’s still plenty of football to be played so don’t count teams out yet.
November has arrived and the NFL season enters its second half. Here at the mid-point of the season, we have two teams with just one loss New England (7-1) and Dallas (6-1). Three times with two losses Denver (6-2, .750), Oakland (6-2, .750) and Kansas City (5-2, .714) and how about this, the entire NFC East is the only division in football right now with a winning record,,Dallas (6-1), the New York Giants (4-3), Philadelphia (4-3) and Washington (4-3-1).

The Sports Kings ( Ronnie Brooks, Necole Key, Dustin Phifer and Gene Thompson) pay tribute to Rod Johnson. We lost Rod on October 5, 2016 and to be quite honest, things haven't been the same for the Sports Kings program. The decision was made to cancel all remaining shows for the month of October out of respect for our dear friend, however I decided that we should all get together and remember Rod in our own special way. This show gives us that opportunity to do so. Please join us as we share our most pleasant memories of our dear friend and co-host Hot Rod Johnson.
Rod's family has expressed their sincere appreciation for the support everyone has displayed and wanted everyone to know that Rod enjoyed talking sports.

Eight teams are undefeated through the first two weeks of the season – BALTIMORE, DENVER, HOUSTON, MINNESOTA, NEW ENGLAND, the NEW YORK GIANTS, PHILADELPHIA and PITTSBURGH – and hope to move to 3-0 this weekend.
History shows that 0-2 teams advance to the playoffs more often than people might think. Since the current playoff format was instituted in 1990, 26 teams started 0-2 and still qualified for the postseason.
Last season, the HOUSTON TEXANS started the season 0-2 and went on to win the AFC South.
The 1993 Dallas Cowboys started 0-2 before winning Super Bowl XXVIII. The 0-2 New England Patriots of 1996 played in Super Bowl XXXI, and in 2001, the 0-2 Patriots won Super Bowl XXXVI. The 2007 New York Giants started 0-2 before winning Super Bowl XLII.

New Orleans quarterback DREW BREES has 61,326 career passing yards, the fourth-most in NFL history. With 36 passing yards on Sunday at the New York Giants, Brees will surpass Pro Football Hall of Famer DAN MARINO (61,361) for the third-most passing yards all-time.
Philadelphia rookie quarterback CARSON WENTZ passed for 278 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles’ 29-10 victory against Cleveland on Kickoff Weekend.
