NBA unrestricted free agent Kevin Durant will meet with 4 teams to discuss his future. MeanGene weighs in on this decision and why it may be bad business for any team other than Golden State to re-sign him. This time of year in the NBA we hear the words , unrestricted and restricted free agents a lot, I decided to give you the NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement textbook definition of those terms.
Make sure you listen to the Sports Kings Podcast as we bring you continued coverage of the NBA Free Agency Frenzy 2019.

The Golden State Warriors swept the Portland Trailblazers in the Western Conference Finals and will play in their 5th straight NBA Finals. The Toronto Raptors were in a 0-2 hole before winning 4 straight over the heavily favored Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals. In doing so, the Raptors will play in their first ever NBA Finals.
Game 1 kicks off Thursday May 30, 2019 at Scotia Bank Arena in Toronto. It will be the first time ever that the NBA Finals will be played outside the United States. Toronto swept the regular season match ups against the Warriors and will have home court advantage in the NBA Finals.
Golden State will be looking for their 3rd consecutive NBA Championship, while the Raptors try to win their first. MeanGene and David Ramon break down the match up and expectations for both teams on this NBA Finals podcast.

NBA Playoffs 2019

The NBA Conference Finals are underway and it appears the Milwaukee Bucks and the Golden State Warriors are on a collision course, but not so fast, if the Toronto Raptors can hold serve on their own court for games 3 and 4, we could be having a whole new conversation this time next week. As for the Portland Trailblazers, their quest to make the NBA Finals got much slimmer after the Gold State Warriors win in Portland to take a 3-0 lead in their Western Conference Finals series.
MeanGene breaks it all down right here on the Sports Kings NBA Playoffs Podcast on iHeartRadio.

The Toronto Raptors will try to regain home court advantage after dropping game 2 vs the 76ers. The Boston Celtics head home for 2 games and will try to go up 3-1 in the series with victories in game 3 and 4. Over in the Western Conference, the Portland Trailblazers even up the series vs Denver and head to Rip City for 2 home games. The Houston Rockets are the only team unable to get a win on the road so far in the semi finals.

Here's a quick NBA Playoff update from "San Antonio"
Four teams are one win away from advancing to the next round of the NBA playoffs. Boston, Houston, Philadelphia and Milwaukee all have three wins in the first round. The San Antonio Spurs missed an opportunity to take a 3-1 lead against the Nuggets on Saturday. I've attended many Spurs playoff games over the years and I must admit, yesterday's crowd appeared to be too relaxed, perhaps they were recovering from the "Fiesta Week" festivities here in San Antonio. Denver even the series at 2 games a piece.
So far in these playoffs, it appears that Milwaukee is the most feared team in the Eastern Conference, we will have to wait and see if they can sustain this momentum heading into the conference semi finals.
Join MeanGene and David Ramon next week here on iHeartRadio with more from the NBA playoffs.

The 2019 NBA Playoffs are here. Join the Sports Kings throughout the NBA Playoffs as we bring you our insights and analysis as we countdown to the NBA Finals, which will start on May 30, 2019.
The Eastern Conference playoffs will be a little bit more exciting than usual. Milwaukee, Toronto, Boston and Philadelphia are all capable of making it out of the East. Most importantly, Lebron James will not be in their way this year.
Over in the Western conference, all eyes will be on the Golden State Warriors as they attempt to become the first team since the 2000, 2001 and 2002 Los Angeles Lakers to go back- to- back- to- back. The Houston Rockets have reloaded and should be better prepared for another deep playoff run, that is if they can get past the Warriors in their potential second round match up.
Stay with us, its going to be an exciting NBA postseason.
