MeanGene has been in the Sports Radio broadcasting business for over 20 years and have interviewed some of the biggest names in Professional Sports.

2023-24 NBA Season Preview Show
About 125 NBA veterans have new teams. The list includes former All-Stars Bradley Beal (Phoenix), Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porziņģis (Boston), Damian Lillard (Milwaukee), Chris Paul (Golden State) and Fred VanVleet (Houston); 2021-22 Kia NBA Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart (Memphis); and 2018 first overall draft pick Deandre Ayton (Portland).
NBA all-time scoring leader LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers (21st season), 13-time All-Star Kevin Durant of Phoenix (16th) and three-point king Stephen Curry of Golden State (15th) continue to enhance legendary careers. James has 40,000 points in sight, Durant is poised to crack the top 10 in career scoring and Curry is approaching 3,500 three-pointers made.

The MIAMI DOLPHINS (5-1) and PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (5-1) tie for the best record in the NFL entering Week 7, while owning the top-two offenses in the league. Miami ranks first with 498.7 yards per game, with the Eagles ranking second with 395.0 yards per game.
When the two clubs meet in Philadelphia on Sunday Night Football (8:20 PM ET, NBC), it will mark the first game since 2016 to feature the top-two offenses in the league in Week 7 or later, when the Falcons hosted the Saints in Week 17 of that season.
The CLEVELAND BROWNS lead the league in total defense this season, allowing 200.4 yards per game. Their 1,002 total yards allowed in their first five games this season are the fewest in 52 years and the third-fewest yards allowed by a team in its first five games of a season since 1970.
Steelers return from the bye week to face the Rams, Chiefs at home vs Chargers in a AFC West matchup, and the Raiders and Bears could both be without their QB's heading into Sundays game (Raiders at Bears..

Indianapolis rookie quarterback ANTHONY RICHARDSON ties for the lead among quarterbacks this season with four rushing touchdowns, becoming the first quarterback in the Super Bowl era with a rushing touchdown in each of his first three career games.
Baltimore quarterback LAMAR JACKSON has a 74.3 completion percentage (78 of 105), the second-highest mark among starting quarterbacks this season and is the only quarterback with a completion percentage of 70-or-higher in each of the first four weeks.
Houston rookie quarterback C.J. STROUD ranks fourth in the NFL with 1,212 passing yards entering Week 5, the second-most ever by a player in his first four career games. He is also one of three starting quarterbacks to not throw an interception this season (minimum two starts).

We take a look at all the action on Sunday October 1, 2023,
Los Angeles Rams rookie wide receiver PUKA NACUA registered nine receptions for 163 yards, including the game-winning 22-yard touchdown reception in overtime of the team's 29-23 win over Indianapolis.
Buffalo quarterback JOSH ALLEN completed 21 of 25 pass attempts (84 percent) for 320 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions for a 158.3 rating and added one rushing touchdown in the Bills' 48-20 win over Miami.
Houston rookie quarterback C.J. STROUD passed for 306 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions for a 111.2 rating in the Texans' 30-6 win over Pittsburgh.

The MIAMI DOLPHINS are 3-0 for a second-consecutive season and have totaled 1,651 total yards of offense, the most-ever by a team through their first three games of a season. They also lead the league with 130 points scored, the second-most by a team through three games in NFL history.
Philadelphia enters Week 4 having won 20 of their past 21 regular-season games started by quarterback JALEN HURTS, including each of his past nine regular-season starts dating back to Week 11 of the 2022 season.
Houston rookie quarterback C.J. STROUD ranks fifth in the NFL with 906 passing yards entering Week 4. He is also one of four quarterbacks (among those that have started in each of the first three weeks) that have not thrown an interception this season.
With 244 passing yards against Pittsburgh on Sunday (1:00 PM ET, CBS), Stroud will move into the top-five for most passing yards ever by a player in his first four career games.
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver KEENAN ALLEN leads the NFL with 32 receptions this season. Last week, his 18 receptions were tied for the third-most in a regular-season game in NFL history.

The DALLAS COWBOYS lead the NFL with a plus-60 point differential through the first two weeks of the season after capturing 40-0 and 30-10 victories in Weeks 1 and 2, respectively. They are the fifth team in the Super Bowl era to score at least 70 points and allow 10-or-fewer points through their first two games of a season.
Los Angeles Rams rookie wide receiver PUKA NACUA, a fifth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft from BYU, totaled a single-game rookie-record 15 receptions for 147 yards in Week 2, after recording 10 receptions for 119 yards in his debut on Kickoff Weekend.
Nacua became the first player ever with at least 10 receptions and 100 receiving yards in each of his first two career games. His 25 receptions are the most-ever by a player in his first two career games and are already the most by any player in his first three career games, surpassing ANQUAN BOLDIN (23 receptions in his first three career games in 2003).
Last week, Philadelphia quarterback JALEN HURTS recorded his 9th-career game with at least two rushing touchdowns. With two rushing touchdowns at Tampa Bay on Monday Night Football (7:15 PM ET, ABC), Hurts will tie CAM NEWTON (10 games) for the most such games by a quarterback in NFL history.
Hurts has 28 rushing touchdowns in 47 career games. With one more rushing touchdown, he will surpass Newton (28) for the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in his first 50 career games.

The MIAMI DOLPHINS totaled 536 yards of offense in their Kickoff Weekend victory over the Chargers, the most offensive yards by any team in a Week 1 game since Baltimore in 2019. Quarterback TUA TAGOVAILOA recorded 466 passing yards and three touchdown passes in last week’s victory – the fourth-most passing yards in a season-opening game in NFL history – and was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
When ANTHONY RICHARDSON and the Colts travel to face C.J. STROUD and the Texans, it will mark the second game in NFL history featuring two starting quarterbacks both under the age of 22. Each quarterback is currently 21 years old.
Los Angeles Rams rookie wide receiver PUKA NACUA, a fifth-round selection in the 2023 Draft, recorded 10 receptions for 119 yards in the team’s Week 1 victory, becoming the fifth player in NFL history to record at least 10 receptions in his NFL debut.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback BROCK PURDY became the team’s starter in Week 14 of last season and has not looked back. After leading the 49ers to victory in each of their final five regular-season games in 2022, Purdy recorded 220 passing yards, two touchdown passes and no interceptions for a 111.3 rating in San Francisco’s victory over Pittsburgh last week. It marked his sixth consecutive regular-season start with at least two touchdown passes and a passer rating of 95-or-higher.

Dustin and I make our Week 1 predictions for games played Thursday September 7th thru Monday September 11th. Here's what to look for in Week 1 of the NFL 2023.
Cincinnati quarterback JOE BURROW tied for second in the NFL with 35 touchdown passes last season and ranked fifth with 4,475 passing yards. He has 11,774 passing yards since entering the league in 2020 and became the first player ever to record at least 400 passing yards in five games within his first three seasons.
Last season, Buffalo quarterback JOSH ALLEN ranked second among quarterbacks with 42 combined passing and rushing touchdowns (35 passing, seven rushing). Since entering the league in 2018, Allen has 176 combined passing and rushing touchdowns, the second-most in the NFL.
Since entering the NFL in 2016, Dallas quarterback DAK PRESCOTT has totaled 24,943 passing yards and 1,642 rushing yards in 97 games.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback BROCK PURDY became the team’s starter in Week 14 of last season and has not looked back since. He led the 49ers to victory in each of their final five regular-season games, recording at least two touchdown passes and a passer rating of 95-or-higher in each contest.
