Sports Kings NFL Weekly Countdown Show December 21, 2013

Time is running out. With two weeks to go in the NFL regular season, it’s time for teams to make their final playoff push.

Through the first 15 weeks, only four postseason berths have been clinched – Denver, Indianapolis, Kansas City and Seattle. With two weeks left, there are still 19 teams in contention for a trip to Super Bowl XLVIII.

There will be 15 games on Sunday and Week 16 will conclude on Monday night in a rematch of last season’s NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons (ESPN, 8:40 PM ET). The game also marks the final regular-season contest at Candlestick Park.

Join the Sports Kings for a closer look at Week 16 of the NFL

Sports Kings Talk Show NFL Week 14 Dec 7, 2013

It’s Week 14 of the NFL season and only four games remain to decide who advances to the playoffs. And who goes is anyone’s guess as 29 teams remain in contention for a trip to Super Bowl XLVIII.

The Seattle Seahawks are the first team to clinch a spot in the 2013 playoff field and can clinch the NFC West – and a first-round bye – with a win.

Two division leaders will meet when the Bengals host the Colts. Cincinnati leads the AFC North by two games over Baltimore while Indianapolis has opened up a three-game lead over Tennessee in the AFC South.

With two meetings in the next three weeks, the Panthers and Saints will battle for the top spot in the NFC South.
