NFL Weekly Countdown Show “Divisional Playoffs” 2013

On Saturday, January 12, the Denver Broncos (13-3), the AFC’s No. 1 seed, will host the AFC North champion Baltimore Ravens (11-6) to kick off the weekend (CBS, 4:30 PM ET). That night in primetime (FOX, 8:00 PM ET), the Green Bay Packers (12-5), who won the NFC North, will travel to face the NFC West champion San Francisco 49ers (11-4-1).

Week 17 NFL Weekly Countdown Show

The Green Bay Packers are the NFC North division champions and are in control for the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye. The Packers will lock up the No. 2 seed with a win or losses by San Francisco and Seattle.

  In the AFC, all six postseason spots have been clinched. But teams are still battling for playoff position. The four division winners are the Houston Texans (AFC South), Denver Broncos (AFC West), New England Patriots (AFC East) and Baltimore Ravens (AFC North).

NFL Wildcard Weekend Show 2013

The NFL playoffs, which conclude on February 3 with Super Bowl XLVII at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, begin this Saturday and Sunday with Wild Card Weekend. 

The Seahawks are one of four new teams in this year’s playoff field, joining Indianapolis, Minnesota and Washington. Since the 12-team playoff format was adopted in 1990, at least four teams have qualified for the playoffs that were not in the postseason the year before
